ALLEGIANT AIR ANNOUNCES NEW, NONSTOP AIR SERVICE BETWEEN BELLINGHAM AND LOS ANGELES:
AIRLINE CELEBRATES WITH INTRODUCTORY $78* FARES

(BELLINGHAM, Wash.) - Bellingham, Wash. and British Columbia residents will soon get the star treatment as low-cost airline, Allegiant Air, LLC, today announces new, nonstop jet service to Los Angeles from Bellingham International Airport beginning May 2. Allegiant is celebrating the sunny new service by offering fares as low as $78* one-way to the "City of Angels" known for sun, surf, sightseeing and celebrities.
"We're pleased to bring yet another affordable and convenient way for the Bellingham and British Columbia communities to go on vacation to a sunny destination," Maurice J. Gallagher, Allegiant Air president & CEO, said. "This is an exciting new addition for our airline and our customers as we launch the only nonstop, all jet service between Bellingham and Los Angeles."
The new flights will operate two times weekly between Bellingham and Los Angeles International Airport with service Wednesday and Saturday. Beginning May 2, flights will depart Bellingham at 7 a.m. arriving in Los Angeles at 9:35 a.m. Flights leaving Los Angeles will depart at 10:45 a.m. arriving in Bellingham at 1:30 p.m. (all flight times are local). Beginning May 25, the airline will add Monday flights. Allegiant provides service from Bellingham to six other U.S. cities including: Las Vegas, San Francisco/Oakland, Calif., Palm Springs, Calif., Phoenix/Mesa, Reno, Nev. and San Diego.
"Passengers flying out of Bellingham are really going to enjoy having direct flights to Los Angeles," Jim Darling, Port of Bellingham executive director, said. "A lot of local people traveling for business and pleasure will make use of direct flights to Los Angeles. LAX is a hub airport with great connections all over the world. We are very happy Allegiant continues to offer more travel opportunities to Bellingham."
Located in the heart of sunny Southern California, Los Angeles is just minutes from some of the world's most exciting experiences. From theme parks to world-famous beaches, unsurpassed shopping to the iconic Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles is an escape from reality. Attractions like Disneyland and Universal Studios Hollywood keep the adrenaline pumping, while landmarks such as the Hollywood Walk of Fame and Grauman's Chinese Theater give visitors a taste of Tinsel Town. The Allegiant Vacations division of the company will offer low-cost packages with more than six of the Los Angeles area's most exciting hotel properties, including: Sheraton Universal Hotel, Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites, Hyatt Regency Long Beach, Hyatt Regency Newport Beach, Marina del Ray Marriott and The Westin Los Angeles Airport.
Allegiant's $78* one-way introductory fare is limited, must be purchased by March 11, 2009 and is valid for travel through Sept. 30, 2009. Introductory fares are not available on all flights. After the introductory fare period, regular one-way fares on the route start as low as $98 one-way. Allegiant will utilize 150-seat, MD-80 series, jet-aircraft on the route.

About the $78* one-way fare:
Seats are limited. Fares are one-way and not available on all flights. Must be purchased by March 11, 2009 for travel completed by Sept. 30, 2009. Offer not available May 22-25, 2009 and July 2-6, 2009. Prices do not include PFC, segment tax or Sept. 11 security fee of up to $10.60 per segment. A segment is one take-off and one landing. A convenience fee of $13.50 per passenger will apply when booked on allegiantair.com. A convenience fee of $13.50 per passenger, plus $10.00 per segment, will apply when purchased through Allegiant Air call center. Purchases made at any Allegiant Air Airport Ticket Office will not incur a convenience or call-center fee. When purchased at time of booking, a fee of $15 for first checked bag and $25 for second checked bag will apply per person, per segment. If purchased at
