The landscape is changing on the former Georgia-Pacific mill site as demolition and environmental cleanup continues, and one of the best places to watch is the Chestnut Avenue bridge, right before West Chestnut becomes Roeder Avenue. Share your photos of the ever-changing ‘View from the Bridge’ on Chestnut Avenue.

Images can be from any time - we love to see historic GP in operation photos as well as present day images. This contest will continue through May 31.

Rules and Eligibility

1) Anyone is eligible to participate.
2) Submissions may be photographs, paintings, or other artistic representations of the "View from the Bridge."
3) Submissions must be in digital format. Photos may be enhanced to compensate for technical quality and aesthetics but should not be “doctored” (e.g. adding objects that were not originally in the picture). Images must be high-resolution, 300 dpi or higher.
4) Only five submissions per competitor.
5) Photographer must own all rights to any photographs entered in this competition as well as have model releases when appropriate
6) Winners will be notified in June, 2012. Selected submissions will be displayed at the Squalicum Boathouse during the Haggen Family 4th of July Festival on July 4, 2012.
