Each year the Port hosts the Haggen Family 4th of July at Zuanich Point Park, in partnership with Haggen and the Bellingham/Whatcom Chamber of Commerce. The event includes live music, family activities, vendors, and ends with a fireworks show over Bellingham Bay.

This family-oriented event provides free holiday activities, including music and dance performances, a gingerbread house display, Santa, fire truck rides, horse and wagon rides, and much more.
