Improvements to Squalicum Harbor's Gate 3 began in October of 2011 and
are expected to reach completion in April of 2012. This project is made
up of two elements:
- Dredging of approximately 40,000 cubic yards of sediment to increase the depth around the F & G mooring area, and
- Replacement of piling and floats on F-east, F-west, G-east and G-west.
