Outdoor Holiday Decorations and Large “Snow Globe” Coming to the Bellingham Cruise Terminal

The Bellingham Cruise Terminal will welcome in the winter holidays with a stunning outdoor viewing experience including lights, decorations and a “snow globe” holiday scene as seen through the windows of the terminal’s dome room.  The outdoor viewing experience will be available for viewing December 3-25, and take the place of the annual Holiday Port festival to protect community members against the dangers of holiday gatherings during the Covid pandemic.

The Bellingham Yacht Club will be having their traditional lighted boat parade on Saturday Dec. 5th. The decorated boats will leave Squalicum Harbor at 6pm and float by the Bellingham Cruise terminal around 6:15pm.

“I think people will really appreciate the opportunity to safely view holiday decorations from the outside of the Bellingham Cruise Terminal this year” said Port Community Outreach Manager Tiffany DeSimone. “In addition to many lights and ornamentations outside the terminal, we are developing a winter wonderland scene inside the dome room to give visitors the feeling they are looking through the glass windows into a large snow globe.  Holiday Port will be back bigger and better than ever when it is safe to gather, but in the meantime, this is a terrific alternative to get in the spirit of the holidays.”

The Bellingham Cruise Terminal is located at 355 Harris Avenue in Bellingham.
