Fire & Story Festival is back at Bellingham's Waterfront

The Port is proud to welcome back a winter gathering of folk, light and lore to Bellingham’s downtown waterfront. The Fire & Story Festival, set against the stunning backdrop of the Digester Tanks, promises a weekend of tall tales, acoustic music, fire dancing and much more.

This ticketed festival, scheduled to take place from January 23-25, will transform the waterfront into a beacon of fire, welcoming locals and visitors alike to celebrate the darkest days of the year. Four artistically crafted sculptural fire pits will be the stages for local storytellers, dancers, poets, artists and folk musicians. With more than 50 unique stories, the event is poised to become a highlight of Whatcom County’s winter calendar.

Bring your families and friends of all ages to join this illuminated cultural experience.

New to Fire and Story this season is the Sauna Grove. Enjoy three beautifully crafted wood-fired saunas with groups as small as one and as large as six. Sauna reservations and general Fire and Story tickets are both required.
