Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we will be taking precautions for visitor and staff safety. Appointments will be limited to five people from the same household visiting for thirty minutes. No food or drink may be brought into the Marine Life Center, and face coverings that meet the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention mask recommendations must be worn at all times. If visitors do not bring adequate face coverings, visitors will be asked to leave. Children under two and children under five who cannot safely keep a face mask in place are asked to stay home and return to the Marine Life Center at a later time. Select windows will be open to promote airflow, so please dress warmly!

Walk-in appointments may be available with the same precautions.  Walk-in visitors will be asked to leave their contact information with staff.

Between appointments, the Marine Life Center will close for fifteen minutes of sanitizing. Appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance, and confirmed via email with Marine Life Center staff. We are excited to explore our tanks with you once again. We thank you for your support and patience as we re-open to provide education and experience with our local sea creatures.

Appointments may be made by emailing marinelifecenter@portofbellingham.com. More information is available by calling (360) 671-2431, or visiting our social media. Please note that appointments are not official until confirmed by Marine Life Center staff via email. School groups hoping to schedule multiple visits with groups of five should email us to confirm details.

Appointments are available between 10 am and 2pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
