Olympics/Team USA Watch Party this Sunday in The Portal Container Village

Come join us for a free Olympics watch party at Kulshan Trackside’s all ages beer garden this Sunday, July 28th to cheer on the USA women’s soccer team as they battle arch rival Germany. The festivities begin at 11:15 am with free prizes for the first 100 people. Kickoff is at noon with the game to be broadcast on a massive video wall.

What to Expect:

  • Giant Video Wall: Catch all the live action on a massive TV screen that will make you feel like you are watching the game in Paris.
  • Food & Drinks: There will be a plenty of delicious food and beverage options from The Portal Container Village businesses, along with food trucks.
  • Festive Environment: Show your support by wearing red, white and blue. US flags and face paint strongly encouraged. Fun for all ages!

Special Features:

  • Meet & Greet: Meet former professional soccer players Taylor Graham and Temryss Xeli’tia Lane and get inspired by their stories. Port Commission President Ken Bell will introduce the soccer VIPs and provide opening remarks.
  • Giveaways & Prizes: The first 100 people will receive FIFA swag! Raffle tickets will be handed out for a chance to win prizes at half time.
  • Soccer Balls for Sale: For a donation of $10, the RAVE Foundation will give a soccer ball to a child and you will get your own soccer ball to take home. RAVE removes barriers to play by building fields for free play and giving soccer balls to kids who need them most.

The Team USA watch party is free and open to the public. Bellingham Whatcom County Tourism, in collaboration with the Port of Bellingham and Seattle FIFA World Cup 2026, is hosting the event.

The Team USA watch party is the first step in building excitement for the FIFA World Cup 2026, which will draw hundreds of thousands of visitors to Seattle and Vancouver, BC, both of which are designated FIFA host cities. Because of Bellingham’s proximity, the games will increase visitation to our area.
